We connected Claude directly to the company’s enterprise data warehouse and taught it the business. It carries the warehouse’s structure and the company’s own definitions — the brands, entities, and chart of accounts — so a plain-English question returns a branded report that reconciles to the company’s existing BI, dollar for dollar.

The connection is read-only and runs inside the company’s own cloud environment, under its own controls. Anyone on the finance team can ask for a report in plain language and have it in minutes. What used to require an IT ticket and a wait of weeks now takes a sentence.

Then we made sure it didn’t stay ours. A three-day onsite bootcamp and weekly working sessions put the building in the hands of the company’s own finance and IT teams.
